The Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University – third stage organized an awareness campaign titled: “Education for sustainable development is not مجرد lessons, but seeds planted in minds that create change” on 25/4/2026 at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Atyaf Abdul Mahdi, Noor Ali, and Fatima Ihsan. The campaign aimed to promote the concept of education for sustainable development as a cornerstone for building a conscious society capable of addressing environmental, economic, and social challenges. It also focused on the role of education in developing critical thinking skills and motivating students to adopt responsible behaviors that contribute to a more sustainable future. The campaign included various awareness activities that encouraged active student participation and reinforced the idea that education is not limited to receiving information, but extends to being a real tool for creating positive change within society. This campaign aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 13 (Climate Action), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, affirms its commitment to supporting sustainable education and enhancing community awareness.
