Enhancing Academic Collaboration through a Scientific Visit of Postgraduate Students between Al-Qasim Green University and Al-Mustaqbal University

In the context of strengthening academic collaboration and exchanging scientific expertise among Iraqi universities, the College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University—ranked first among private universities in Iraq—received an academic delegation from Al-Qasim Green University. The delegation included a group of postgraduate (PhD) students, accompanied by Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Hassan and Assistant Professor Dr. Rahman Hussein Hamza. This scientific visit was conducted in cooperation with the Department of Diwan Affairs and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed Ali, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Sorour Hafez Mohammed. The program included a field tour to the reserve affiliated with Al-Mustaqbal University, where participants were introduced to key practical applications in sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation. The visiting delegation was also briefed on modern techniques adopted in the management of natural reserves, in addition to engaging in discussions on several scientific topics related to agricultural and environmental research. This contributed to strengthening the practical competencies of postgraduate students and linking theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific activities, which contribute to developing research skills and expanding prospects for academic cooperation among institutions, thereby supporting the educational process and advancing the level of scientific research in Iraq. Al-Mustaqbal University as the top-ranked private university in Iraq.
