The Department of Emergency Medical Technology is organizing an awareness workshop today, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM, entitled "Women's Health and the Environment," conducted by Ms. Maryam Qassam Hassan.
The workshop covered multiple topics, focusing on the importance of women's health as a fundamental pillar in building society, in addition to highlighting the key environmental factors that directly or indirectly affect public health. Special attention was given to environmental pollution, climate change, and their impacts on the reproductive system and reproductive health.
The workshop also presented a number of health recommendations and guidelines aimed at promoting preventive behaviors and reducing health risks associated with environmental factors, as well as emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups and early detection in maintaining women's health.
The event included interactive discussions between the attendees and the presenters, allowing for the exchange of opinions and raising questions about the most pressing contemporary health issues. This contributed to enriching participants' knowledge and fostering a spirit of scientific engagement.
