Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, enhanced technological awareness and women’s empowerment by preparing and designing an educational brochure titled “The Role of Working Women in Advancing Society Using Artificial Intelligence Technology,” under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, and in cooperation between the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering and the Women’s Affairs Division, on Monday, 04/05/2026, at the Student Activities Hall. The brochure highlighted the importance of empowering women and strengthening their active role in society through the use of modern artificial intelligence technologies. It outlined how these technologies support women’s career development and skill enhancement, as well as presenting key challenges and solutions related to technology use in various work environments. It also included awareness-focused themes emphasizing women’s role in community building and the importance of spreading technological culture and fostering a knowledge-based environment that supports sustainable development. This activity was conducted within the framework of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030), particularly the participation and institutional reform pillar, by supporting women’s empowerment issues and strengthening their academic and professional roles in innovation and technology fields. The activity also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 5 “Gender Equality” and Goal 9 “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” reaffirming the university’s commitment to advancing women’s roles in society. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting women and promoting technological awareness, contributing to building a knowledgeable society capable of keeping pace with modern scientific and technological developments.
