Poverty is considered one of the major global challenges affecting millions of people around the world. With the advancement of technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an effective tool in providing innovative solutions to combat poverty and improve living standards. Through data analysis, trend prediction, and intelligent solutions, AI can support sustainable development efforts and enhance economic opportunities for disadvantaged communities. Artificial Intelligence helps analyze poverty-related data by collecting and processing massive amounts of information related to income, health, and education, enabling governments and non-profit organizations to identify areas most in need of support. Machine learning can also be used to predict economic crises or food shortages, contributing to proactive decision-making and the provision of aid before situations worsen. In the agricultural sector, AI enables low-income farmers to use big data analytics and smart sensing technologies to improve productivity and reduce waste. Smart applications provide recommendations on the best planting times, required water quantities, and weather forecasts, helping farmers achieve higher yields and increase their income. In education and employment, AI technologies have created new opportunities through e-learning platforms that provide vocational skills to people in impoverished areas. AI systems also analyze labor markets and connect job seekers with suitable opportunities, increasing employment rates and reducing unemployment. In financial services, AI systems have contributed to financial inclusion solutions by enabling individuals to access digital banking services and microfinance without the need for traditional banks. This facilitates the establishment of small businesses and helps individuals achieve financial independence. Despite these benefits, challenges still remain, such as ensuring fairness in the use of AI, as biased algorithms may exacerbate social inequalities. Therefore, it is essential to develop ethical policies that guarantee equal access to and benefits from these technologies. As AI continues to advance, it can become a powerful tool in combating poverty by providing innovative solutions that enhance education, agriculture, employment, and financial services, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
