Cybersecurity in the healthcare sector involves the use of encryption technologies, multi-layered security systems, threat detection solutions, and continuous monitoring of all connected systems. It also includes training employees on digital security practices to minimize human errors, which are considered one of the leading causes of security vulnerabilities. As cyber threats continue to evolve, artificial intelligence has become an essential component of healthcare security. AI contributes to detecting threats before they occur and analyzing unusual patterns within networks. It also helps protect connected medical devices—such as patient monitoring systems and surgical equipment—from tampering or malicious control.
