The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar titled "Media Misinformation" on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Held in one of the department's halls, the event was attended by a group of professors, students, and media enthusiasts, aiming to enhance academic awareness regarding the challenges facing audiences in the digital age. The seminar’s themes were presented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Nihad Khalil, who addressed the concept of media misinformation and its various methods. He highlighted the systematic techniques used to steer public opinion and influence audiences across different media platforms. The lecturer also discussed the vital importance of the public possessing media literacy and the ability to verify news sources, especially given the widespread dissemination of misleading information targeting social awareness.
