Organized by the Department of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Physiotherapy at Al-Mustaqbal University, an online scientific workshop was held on Saturday at 8:00 PM, focusing on bone fractures, their diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation approaches. The workshop emphasized understanding fractures, their causes, types, and diagnostic and treatment methods. Participants were introduced to the most common causes of fractures, including falls, road traffic accidents, sports injuries, osteoporosis, and various medical conditions affecting bone health. It also addressed fracture classification, common signs and symptoms, as well as basic first aid principles and different treatment approaches, including immobilization, surgical intervention, and rehabilitation strategies. In addition, the workshop included practical applications and clinical discussions on physiotherapy techniques used to restore movement and muscle strength and to enhance functional recovery after fractures, contributing to the development of both the scientific and practical skills of students and participants.
