With the increasing use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, questions have emerged about the possibility of replacing managers with intelligent systems. Artificial intelligence possesses a high capability for analyzing data, making decisions based on digital information, and providing effective recommendations, making it a powerful tool in operational management. In some sectors, intelligent systems are already being used for performance evaluation, schedule organization, and logistical planning, which reduces the burden on managers and accelerates decision-making processes. However, leadership roles still require human skills that are difficult to replicate, such as emotional intelligence, team motivation, conflict resolution, and building workplace culture. A successful manager’s role is not limited to task execution; it also involves creativity, ethical decision-making, and understanding the social dynamics of a team—elements that artificial intelligence is still unable to fully comprehend. Therefore, artificial intelligence is unlikely to completely replace managers. Instead, it will serve as a supportive tool that enhances their efficiency and enables them to focus on strategic and human-centered responsibilities.
