The Head of the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Prof. Dr. Hasnain Khalil Ibrahim, and the Department Rapporteur, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Naji, attended the launch event of the Al-Mustaqbal AI Council, organized by Al-Mustaqbal University on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in the presence of a number of academic, teaching, and administrative figures. The launch of the council comes as part of the university’s efforts to promote awareness of artificial intelligence technologies and their modern applications, while supporting scientific and technological trends that contribute to the development of educational and research processes in line with rapid advancements in this field. The event included a presentation of the council’s objectives and future vision in supporting innovation and digital transformation, as well as enhancing the role of artificial intelligence in serving academic institutions and society.
