Al-Mustaqbal University announced the establishment of the “University Al-Mustaqbal Artificial Intelligence Council” as a strategic step to advance digital and knowledge transformation within the university, to link education and scientific research with innovation and future requirements, and to support the knowledge economy and sustainable development. The announcement was made during an official ceremony attended by the University President, Hassan Shaker Majdi, along with a number of academic and administrative leaders, faculty members, and researchers. In his speech, he emphasized that the establishment of the council marks a new phase in building a smart university that employs artificial intelligence technologies across education, administration, scientific research, and university services, thereby enhancing the university’s competitiveness and academic standing. The ceremony also featured a presentation by Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, who outlined the council’s vision and strategic objectives, which focus on developing smart education, supporting scientific research and innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, strengthening cybersecurity, and building international technological partnerships. The establishment of the council reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to strengthen its position as a leading academic institution in innovation and digital transformation, while preparing a generation capable of meeting future demands and creating smart solutions for emerging challenges.
