According to the latest Scopus database data, updated as of May 30, 2026, the university's faculty and staff have published 6,518 indexed research papers. The university's h-index has also risen to 90, reflecting the scientific impact and citations of its research output.
Furthermore, the university has published 357 new research papers in 2026 to date, a clear indication of the ongoing research momentum across its various colleges and research centers.
In line with its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), research indicators show that Al-Mustaqbal University has 4,346 research papers related to the SDGs, reflecting the university's leading role in directing scientific research towards addressing global societal, environmental, and economic challenges. The most prominent research contributions focused on the areas of good health and well-being, clean energy, clean water and sanitation, industry, innovation and infrastructure, and climate action, aligning with the university's vision of supporting sustainable development and enhancing its scientific and societal impact.
