Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its academic and research standing by achieving remarkable growth in scientific publication indicators. Twenty-seven new scientific papers were indexed during the last week of May 2026, an achievement that reflects the increasing scientific output and the university's growing international presence. During the same period, the university expanded its publications in open access journals, contributing to increased research impact and higher citation rates. The research focused on strategic areas including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, materials engineering, industrial technologies and sustainability, as well as engineering and medical applications. University President Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized the importance of supporting publication in reputable international journals and focusing on applied research related to market needs and economic development. As part of its support for digital transformation, the university announced the launch of the "Al-Mustaqbal University Council for Artificial Intelligence" to promote innovation and the integration of modern technologies in education and scientific research.
