Scientific Article by Professor Aqeel Handhal on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Advancing Community Health Technologies

Professor Aqeel Handhal Taresh Al-Jawdhari, Head of the Community Health Technologies Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, prepared a scientific article entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Advancing Community Health Technologies,” highlighting the growing importance of artificial intelligence applications in supporting healthcare systems and enhancing the efficiency of services provided to the community. The article reviewed the concept of artificial intelligence and its role in advancing the field of community health through the analysis of health data, prediction of disease-related challenges, and the design of effective preventive interventions that address diverse community health needs. It also emphasized the significance of these technologies in strengthening early disease detection, improving epidemiological surveillance systems, and monitoring health indicators with high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Furthermore, the article discussed the contribution of artificial intelligence to health education programs and the promotion of healthy behaviors, in addition to its role in the management and analysis of community health data to support evidence-based healthcare decision-making. The article also addressed the importance of these technologies in supporting preventive medicine, public health initiatives, and the development of educational and training processes for Community Health Technologies students. Professor Aqeel Handhal emphasized in his article that artificial intelligence represents one of the most advanced modern tools capable of bringing about a transformative shift in healthcare services, achieving higher levels of efficiency and sustainability, enhancing quality of life, and contributing to the attainment of health-related Sustainable Development Goals.
