The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized workshop on the occasion of World Accreditation Day, with the participation of quality assurance officers from all university colleges. The event was held in alignment with the university’s commitment to strengthening sound institutional practices and advancing the higher education system. The workshop was led by the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, who presented its main themes and reviewed the latest national and international trends in academic accreditation. He highlighted the role of modern quality assurance systems in achieving academic sustainability and enhancing institutional performance in accordance with national and international standards. The workshop featured interactive discussions focusing on the importance of accreditation as a strategic tool for continuous improvement and on mechanisms for utilizing accreditation outcomes to enhance the quality of education, learning, scientific research, and institutional services. Participants also reviewed best practices that contribute to strengthening the readiness of academic programs for various accreditation requirements. Participants emphasized that World Accreditation Day represents an important opportunity to renew commitment to a culture of excellence and to reinforce the university’s vision of building a system based on good governance and innovation.
