As part of its scientific activities aimed at keeping pace with modern technological developments, the Department of Architecture Engineering organized a workshop for first-year students entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Design: From Idea to Image.” The workshop aimed to introduce students to the potential of artificial intelligence and its role in supporting the architectural design process through the use of advanced digital tools that help develop design concepts and transform them into visual outputs, enhancing creativity and architectural thinking. The workshop included a theoretical session that addressed the concept of artificial intelligence and its most prominent applications in architecture, highlighting its growing role in architectural design and visualization. This was followed by a practical session in which students applied AI tools to transform initial concepts into images and preliminary design proposals reflecting their architectural ideas. The workshop witnessed active student engagement and contributed to developing their technical and creative skills, enhancing their ability to utilize modern digital technologies in support of their academic projects and design outputs.
