Saturday, June 20, 2026 – The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, held a meeting with the Examination Committee of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques in the presence of the Head of the Department, Lecturer Dr. Dhulfiqar Ahmed Hamza, the Department Rapporteur, and members of the Examination Committee. The meeting was held at 11:00 AM to discuss the results of the second semester final examinations for second-, third-, and fourth-year students and to review the procedures related to their announcement. The Dean opened the meeting by emphasizing the importance of adhering to the ministerial and university regulations governing the examination process and stressed the necessity of completing all reviewing and auditing procedures with the highest levels of accuracy and transparency to ensure fairness for all students. The meeting included discussions on the progress achieved in marking and auditing examination papers, reviewing examination records and final grades, and following up on the procedures for entering and verifying results both electronically and manually before their final approval. The participants also reviewed the preliminary results of second-, third-, and fourth-year students, discussed pass rates across various subjects, and examined key observations regarding students’ academic performance during the final examinations. Furthermore, they explored ways to enhance educational outcomes and improve academic performance. Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim highlighted the importance of maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in grade calculation and examination paper review, praising the considerable efforts made by the Examination Committee and the teaching staff throughout the examination period. For his part, the Head of the Department outlined the procedures adopted by the Examination Committee to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the results, noting that all review and auditing processes are conducted according to approved academic standards under the direct supervision of the Department Presidency and the College Deanship. The meeting also addressed several proposals and recommendations aimed at improving examination procedures and enhancing the quality of academic performance in future examinations in accordance with the university’s quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed her appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Department Presidency and the members of the Examination Committee, emphasizing the importance of continuing teamwork to complete all examination-related requirements and announce the results with the highest levels of accuracy, transparency, and academic integrity.
