Al-Mustaqbal University ranked first among Iraqi private universities and colleges for the third consecutive year in the 2026 University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). The university also secured third place nationally among all public and private Iraqi universities, surpassed only by the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology. This year’s ranking marked an exceptional international achievement for the university, which advanced by 294 positions globally compared with last year’s edition. This significant progress reflects the continuous improvement in the quality and impact of its scientific output, as well as the stability of its strategic plan for scientific research and comprehensive academic excellence. The URAP World Ranking relies exclusively on university data documented in the databases of the renowned global organization Clarivate Analytics. The ranking evaluates academic performance and research productivity through indicators such as the number of internationally indexed publications, citation counts, total scientific output, and the extent of international collaboration in joint research activities.
