Sunday, June 28, 2026 – The Council of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, held a meeting chaired by Lecturer Dr. Dhulfiqar Ahmed Hamza, Head of the Department, with the attendance of the Department Council members to discuss the announcement of the first-round final examination results for the second semester for second-, third-, and fourth-year students. The meeting commenced with the Head of the Department emphasizing the importance of adhering to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regulations and the university’s examination guidelines regarding the announcement of examination results. He stressed the necessity of completing all review and verification procedures to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and fairness. During the meeting, the Council reviewed the final examination results of the second-, third-, and fourth-year students, discussed pass rates across the various courses, and confirmed the completion of all marking, auditing, and grade verification procedures prior to the official approval and announcement of the results. The Council members also discussed key observations related to the examination results, reviewed procedures for handling special academic cases, and evaluated the overall examination process during the second semester. In addition, several recommendations were proposed to further enhance students’ academic performance and improve the quality of the educational process. The Head of the Department emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the Examination Committee, faculty members, and the Department Council to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all procedures related to the announcement of the examination results in accordance with approved academic standards. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hamza expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Department Council members, the Examination Committee, and the teaching staff in ensuring the successful completion of the examination process, reaffirming the Department’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous quality improvement at Al-Mustaqbal University.
