The Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, presented an overview of the academic performance indicators of the university's departments, noting that several disciplines achieved outstanding pass rates compared with their counterparts at both public and private universities. The university also secured first place nationally in several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ranked first among Iraqi private universities in both the U.S. News and URAP rankings. He noted that these accomplishments are the result of an integrated system of education, scientific research, and community service, in addition to expanding international partnerships and adopting global best practices Meanwhile, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department, Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, congratulated the College of Law and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on obtaining programmatic accreditation for their academic programs.
