In alignment with the requirements of program accreditation and within the framework of the comprehensive quality and development plans pursued by Al-Mustaqbal University, the Program Accreditation Standards Auditing Committee at the College of Health and Medical Technologies has commenced its operations with a comprehensive audit of all files and documentation pertaining to the Department of Optics Technologies. This step underscores the College's steadfast commitment to elevating the educational process and ensuring the alignment of academic programs with the highest national and international standards. The auditing process was conducted under the direct supervision and rigorous field follow-up of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim. During her inspection tour, Dr. Al-Qayyim emphasized the strategic importance of obtaining program accreditation in enhancing the College's academic standing. She further noted that the Deanship is fully committed to providing continuous advisory support to all scientific departments and overcoming all obstacles to ensure the success of quality requirements, considering this audit a fundamental pillar for performance evaluation and outcome development. The auditing committee's proceedings included a meticulous review and examination of all evidence, documentation, and academic and administrative files related to the department. This encompassed curricula, program and course descriptions, faculty and student profiles, as well as the supporting infrastructure and scientific laboratories. Furthermore, the committee focused on measuring the compliance of the operational plans of the Department of Optics Technologies with the standards of the specialized Program Accreditation Council, ensuring the department’s complete readiness to receive the ministerial evaluation committees. In the same context, both the committee and the Deanship commended the exceptional efforts exerted by the presidency of the Department of Optics Technologies, alongside the relevant faculty and administrative committees. Their collaborative teamwork in preparing the files and documenting all indicators with high professionalism reflects an advanced level of awareness and responsibility toward academic accreditation requirements. These diligent and continuous efforts reflect the comprehensive strategic vision of Al-Mustaqbal University, which aims to institutionalize a culture of total quality within its walls and integrate academic accreditation into daily practices.
