Al-Mustaqbal University Establishes a High-Level Scientific Partnership with the University of Baghdad to Lead Digital Transformation in Higher Education

Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a Joint Scientific and Cultural Cooperation Agreement with the University of Baghdad, aiming to strengthen academic collaboration and advance Iraq’s educational and research environment in line with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The agreement was signed during the Academic Bridge Initiative Forum, where Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, welcomed Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, President of the University of Baghdad. The agreement outlines several strategic areas of cooperation, focusing on accelerating digital transformation in academic administration, promoting joint research and innovation in artificial intelligence and intelligent systems, and enhancing educational and research infrastructure. It also supports collaborative applied research projects, encourages publication in internationally recognized Scopus-indexed journals, and advances the adoption of modern educational technologies. The memorandum further provides for expanded cooperation in training and professional development through the exchange of expertise, as well as capacity-building programs for faculty members, administrative staff, and students in the use of advanced digital technologies and technical skills. It also promotes coordination in academic programs and curricula while strengthening both virtual and in-person knowledge exchange initiatives.
