Al-Mustaqbal University explored opportunities to strengthen academic and research cooperation with Istanbul Aydın University during a joint scientific meeting that resulted in an agreement to hold the Fifth International Conference on the Future of Sustainable Energy at Istanbul Aydın University in the Republic of Türkiye. The initiative comes as part of the University’s strategy to internationalize higher education and expand its global academic partnerships. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented at the meeting by Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Engineering Technical College. Representing the Turkish side were the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Aydın University and a number of department heads. The two sides discussed mechanisms for enhancing cooperation between corresponding colleges, expanding joint scientific research, and strengthening collaboration with member universities of the European-Asian Universities Union (EURAS). The meeting concluded with a strategic agreement for Istanbul Aydın University to host the fifth edition of the International Conference on the Future of Sustainable Energy, a step that will further enhance the conference’s international profile and provide a global platform for researchers and experts to exchange knowledge and present the latest research findings and innovations in sustainable energy and environmental sustainability. The two parties also discussed the formation of joint scientific and organizing committees for the conference, in addition to expanding academic exchange programs, practical training opportunities, and collaborative research projects, particularly in engineering and medical technical disciplines, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and scientific research. This agreement comes with the direct support of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, as part of the University’s strategy to strengthen its international presence, expand its network of academic partnerships, and reinforce its position among the active member universities of the European-Asian Universities Union (EURAS).
