Intelligent Medical Systems Students Continue Their Summer Training at Al-Salam Private Hospital's MRI and CT Scan Center

Students of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, continued their summer training program on July 17, 2026, at the MRI and CT Scan Center of Al-Salam Private Hospital, as part of the department's commitment to enhancing students' practical skills and providing hands-on experience in specialized healthcare environments. The training included an introduction to the operation of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) systems, familiarization with the components of these advanced medical imaging technologies, their operational procedures, and the safety protocols followed in diagnostic imaging units. Students also explored the role of intelligent technologies in improving diagnostic accuracy and enhancing the quality of healthcare services. The program was supervised by Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mana, Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, and monitored by Dr. Maitham Nabil Muqaddad, Department Coordinator, as part of the department's summer training plan aimed at providing high-quality practical experiences that enable students to apply their academic knowledge in real clinical settings and strengthen their readiness for the labor market. The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems continues to expand its collaboration with healthcare institutions to provide distinguished training opportunities that prepare qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with the rapid advancements in intelligent medical technologies. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
