Al-Mustaqbal University is preparing to host the Second Scientific Conference on Science and Artificial Intelligence, organized under the supervision of the Research and Development Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference will be held on November 29–30, 2026, at the university’s campus in Babylon Province, following the approval of the conference themes and organizational framework by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This milestone reflects the university’s distinguished academic standing and the confidence placed in its ability to organize and host major national and international scientific events. The conference aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision of promoting scientific research, fostering innovation, accelerating digital transformation, and advancing the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in support of sustainable development. It also aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration among universities and research institutions both within Iraq and internationally, contributing to the production of knowledge that keeps pace with rapid global technological advancements. The conference will address a broad range of cutting-edge topics in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, intelligent robotics, data science and big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), smart healthcare systems, software engineering, cybersecurity, intelligent communications, as well as interdisciplinary and humanities research related to artificial intelligence applications and their impact across various sectors. The event will provide researchers and academics with a distinguished scientific platform to present their latest research findings and exchange expertise. Accepted papers will be published in specialized Iraqi scientific journals indexed in Scopus, in addition to Al-Mustaqbal University’s academic journals, in accordance with approved scientific standards. The conference will also feature keynote speeches by prominent scholars and experts, alongside a series of accompanying scientific activities, most notably an Artificial Intelligence Projects Competition showcasing innovative technological solutions. The organizing committee has invited researchers, academics, and professionals from Iraq and abroad to actively participate in the conference. The submission deadline for research papers is September 15, 2026, while the results of the peer-review process will be announced on October 15, 2026. The final deadline for submitting the revised versions of accepted papers is November 1, 2026. The conference is expected to serve as a significant scientific platform for strengthening research partnerships, facilitating knowledge exchange, and exploring the future of artificial intelligence applications across diverse fields. It will further contribute to advancing scientific research and innovation in Iraq while reinforcing Al-Mustaqbal University’s position as a leading academic institution committed to knowledge creation and the development of future technologies.
