The Medical Unit of Al-Mustaqbal University continues to provide healthcare and medical services to pilgrims commemorating Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), with the active participation of a distinguished group of volunteer students. This initiative is part of an integrated program aimed at delivering primary healthcare and first aid services while helping ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims during their journey to the holy city of Karbala. This humanitarian initiative is carried out under the direct support and guidance of Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, reflecting the University’s commitment to its humanitarian and community responsibilities and its dedication to utilizing its academic and medical expertise in serving pilgrims. The initiative also embodies the University’s mission to promote the values of generosity, solidarity, and social responsibility. Volunteer students work alongside the University’s medical staff in providing medical care, first aid, and emergency health services, in addition to delivering health awareness and educational guidance. These efforts contribute to supporting the provision of a safe and healthy environment for the millions of pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
