On August 10, 2026, the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate – Babylon Branch honored the Deanship of the Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University in recognition of its efforts in successfully implementing the summer training program for engineering students from universities and colleges in Babylon Governorate. The initiative reflects the commitment to strengthening cooperation between academic and professional institutions and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, who praised the Syndicate’s role in supporting engineering students and providing them with field-training opportunities that contribute to developing their skills and preparing them for the requirements of the labor market. The summer training program provided students with the opportunity to gain field experience in the various stages of construction project implementation, learn about engineering work practices, and benefit from the practical expertise of supervising engineers and professionals working on-site.
