Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department Delivers a Scientific Seminar on the Transition from Human Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence

As part of the scientific and academic activities of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani, Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department, delivered a scientific seminar entitled “From Human Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence: Where Do Cognitive Abilities Stand?”, in cooperation with the Scientific Care Forum. The seminar addressed several scientific topics related to the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies and their impact on human mental and cognitive abilities. It also discussed the health and cognitive implications of excessive reliance on artificial intelligence, emphasizing the importance of using these technologies consciously and in a balanced manner. The seminar also highlighted the major transformations brought about by artificial intelligence in thinking, learning, and accessing information, while emphasizing the need to preserve the role of humans and their cognitive abilities amid the rapid advancement of intelligent systems. This seminar reflects the commitment of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University to keeping pace with scientific and technological developments and enhancing academic and community awareness of the importance of artificial intelligence and its applications, contributing to the development of a generation capable of utilizing modern technologies in a scientific and responsible manner. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
