As part of its ongoing efforts to serve the pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), Al-Mustaqbal University continues to provide medical and humanitarian services to pilgrims heading toward the holy city of Karbala through its medical units, operating around the clock under the supervision of the Babil Health Directorate. A number of students from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, accompanied by Mr. Zaid Jawdat, Head of the Department’s Student Activities Committee, participated in this initiative. They contributed to providing first aid and healthcare services to pilgrims, as well as offering support and assistance within the medical unit. This participation reflects the Department of Anesthesia Techniques’ commitment to involving its students in community and humanitarian initiatives, providing them with opportunities to apply their knowledge and healthcare skills in real-life field settings, while strengthening the values of volunteering, giving, and social responsibility. The medical services provided to pilgrims continue around the clock to ensure the availability of necessary healthcare and emergency support, amid the extensive efforts of medical staff and student volunteers to serve the millions of pilgrims visiting Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
