As part of its community engagement and commitment to promoting the values of volunteering and giving, Al-Mustaqbal University students participated in field awareness activities aimed at serving visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), coinciding with the large influx of visitors commemorating this occasion. The students’ participation included conducting direct awareness campaigns among visitors and distributing educational leaflets containing a range of health and preventive recommendations. The campaign also focused on raising awareness of public safety measures and promoting behaviors that contribute to making the pilgrimage safer and more organized. This participation is part of the university’s commitment to strengthening the concept of social responsibility among its students and providing them with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in serving the community, while fostering a spirit of initiative and volunteerism. The initiative also reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting its students in actively participating in humanitarian and community-based initiatives and events, while reinforcing the image of the university student as an individual who combines academic knowledge with social awareness and contributes positively to serving others. This participation further affirms the university’s commitment to its mission of preparing a generation equipped with knowledge, skills, and a strong sense of responsibility—one that is capable of taking initiative and contributing to the service of society under various circumstances and on different occasions.
