*Future University Discusses with Babylon Education Directorate Prospects for Joint Cooperation and Student Capacity Development*

The President of Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received the Director General of Babylon Education, Mr. Ali Raji, as part of efforts to strengthen relations between the university and educational institutions in the governorate. Both sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation and ways to support the educational process, and to provide scientific and technical opportunities for school students that contribute to developing their capabilities. The meeting addressed the following key points: - Organizing training courses and programs for educational staff in modern technologies and digital education. - Involving school students in robotics and artificial intelligence programs implemented by the university’s technology incubator. - Organizing scientific visits for graduating students to the university’s laboratories and colleges. - Holding joint seminars, workshops, and events in scientific, cultural, and community fields. - Providing academic and career guidance for sixth preparatory grade students. - Discussing the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding to regulate areas of cooperation. The President of the University affirmed that Future University places its scientific, technical, and human resources at the service of society and its educational institutions, and that cooperation with the Babylon Education Directorate represents an extension of the university’s role in ((Community Service and Sustainable Development)). For his part, the Director General of Babylon Education expressed his thanks to the university presidency, and affirmed the directorate’s readiness to cooperate and activate joint programs that serve students and educational staff. The meeting concluded with an agreement to follow up on the implementation of what was discussed through joint committees from both sides.
