The Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani, has published a scientific research paper entitled: “Proactive Deep Q-Learning Approach for Anomaly Detection in IoT IDSs” The research was published in the University of Babylon Journal of Information Technology. The study focuses on employing Deep Q-Learning techniques to develop intrusion detection systems for Internet of Things (IoT) networks. It adopts a proactive approach to detecting abnormal activities and security threats, contributing to improving the efficiency and security of networks and smart systems. The publication of this research reflects the continuous scientific and research activity of Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani, and aligns with the vision of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department in supporting scientific research and utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in modern technological fields, particularly network security and the Internet of Things. This achievement highlights the department’s commitment to strengthening its research presence and contributing specialized scientific studies that keep pace with rapid developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and smart technologies. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
