A delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, discussed ways to strengthen scientific and technical cooperation with the Babylon Vocational Education Department on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The delegation included representatives from the Engineering Technical College and the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research, in the presence of Dr. Zahraa Hashim, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies.
The visit aimed to enhance joint cooperation, exchange expertise, and support scientific and technical projects. During the visit, the delegation toured the workshops and training laboratories of one of the vocational preparatory schools and discussed the possibility of organizing joint workshops and training programs to develop students' skills, strengthen their practical competencies, and keep pace with technological advancements in support of educational quality and labor market needs.
This visit aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting collaboration between academic and educational institutions to support scientific and technological development.
