As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to monitoring the educational and training environment and strengthening practical learning within the health and medical specialties, Mr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Academic Assistant Rector, conducted a field visit on Saturday 29/8/2026 to the Laboratories of the Department of Optics Techniques to review the work carried out in the laboratories, assess their level of readiness, and examine their role in supporting the students’ educational and practical training. The visit included a tour of the department’s laboratories, during which the Academic Assistant Rector reviewed the equipment and materials used in visual examinations and practical applications. He also followed up on the mechanisms through which the laboratories contribute to developing students’ scientific and professional skills in accordance with the requirements of modern university education. As part of the visit, Mr. Abbas Al-Bawi underwent a visual examination conducted by Dr. Ghaith. The examination represented one of the practical applications that reflect the professional nature of the Optics Techniques field and highlight the importance of visual examinations in assessing visual function and promoting eye health. The visit emphasized the importance of continuously supporting educational laboratories and providing an advanced training environment that strengthens students’ practical competencies and prepares them according to sound scientific and professional standards, enabling them to contribute effectively to the labor market and serve the community. This visit forms part of the university’s ongoing efforts to monitor and enhance the educational and practical processes within the Department of Optics Techniques, while continuously working to improve the quality of academic education, practical training, and specialized services provided to students.
