Al-Mustaqbal Continues AI Literacy Courses to Enhance Digital Skills

Al-Mustaqbal University opened, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, the second week of the third level of the AI Literacy Courses organized by the Continuing Education Center. The activities were held in the University’s Student Activities Hall. The opening was attended by the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Prof. Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul Al-Nadawi, who emphasized in his speech the importance of adhering to lecture schedules and making the most of the scientific content of the course, both theoretically and practically. He noted that this contributes to enhancing trainees’ knowledge and developing their skills in using modern artificial intelligence applications. The Director of the Center explained that artificial intelligence has become an important tool across various fields of work, particularly in educational, academic, and administrative institutions, due to its advanced capabilities in completing tasks, analyzing data, and preparing reports with higher levels of accuracy, comprehensiveness, and professionalism. He also emphasized the importance of applying the knowledge and skills acquired by participants during the course through practical applications that contribute to improving performance efficiency and developing the work environment. This is consistent with the University’s commitment to keeping pace with technological developments and strengthening capacity building in the field of artificial intelligence. The program is scheduled to conclude with an assessment for the trainees to measure the extent of their benefit from the scientific content and evaluate the progress they have made in their knowledge and skills related to artificial intelligence and its applications. This contributes to achieving the educational and training objectives of the course. The organization of these courses comes as part of the efforts of the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University to promote digital literacy and enhance awareness of artificial intelligence technologies. It also aims to equip academic and administrative staff and students with the skills needed to keep pace with technological developments and meet the requirements of the labor market, thereby supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
