The Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, held a meeting on Monday, August 31, 2026, with the website coordinators of all departments of the College, at the Dean’s Office, in the presence of the website coordinators and representatives of the various departments. The meeting aimed to discuss mechanisms for developing and continuously updating the departments’ websites and enhancing their role in publishing academic, administrative, and scientific information, in line with the vision of the College of Science and Al-Mustaqbal University in promoting digital transformation and improving the quality of electronic services provided to students, faculty members, and researchers. The meeting addressed several topics related to managing and updating website content. The current status of the departments’ websites was reviewed, and proposals were discussed to enhance their content and improve the organization of published information. Emphasis was placed on the importance of regularly updating news, announcements, academic and scientific activities, cultural events, and other information of interest to students and academic and administrative staff. The Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, emphasized the important role of university websites in strengthening institutional communication and highlighting the scientific and academic activities of each department. He stressed the need to ensure the quality, accuracy, and continuous updating of published content in a manner that reflects the academic and scientific standards of the College of Science and its departments. The meeting also discussed ways to standardize and organize electronic publishing mechanisms and strengthen coordination between website coordinators and the College administration. Such efforts would contribute to the efficient dissemination of information and promote integration in electronic and media activities among the various departments. Several ideas and proposals were presented to further develop the websites and enhance their interfaces and content, providing students and visitors with clear and up-to-date information about academic programs, activities, events, and scientific achievements. The discussion also highlighted the importance of showcasing the achievements of faculty members and students, as well as the initiatives and accomplishments of the College’s departments. The meeting further emphasized the importance of documenting scientific and academic activities and publishing them regularly through the official websites. This would reflect the scientific and cultural activities taking place at the College of Science, strengthen its digital presence, and highlight its achievements and participation at both university and community levels.
