President of AL_Mustaqbal University Explores Latest Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technologies at Bristol Robotics Laboratory

Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of AL_Mustaqbal University, toured the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) to explore the latest research projects and advanced technologies in artificial intelligence, robotics, and intelligent systems. The tour included presentations by postgraduate students and researchers, in collaboration with international institutions and companies. The visit encompassed applications of assistive robots in healthcare and smart living, particularly technologies designed to support the elderly and provide home care. It also included projects on autonomous vehicles and systems, as well as research on advanced manufacturing and smart manufacturing using industrial robotic arms. The President also reviewed several advanced research projects in artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction, including quadrupedal robots, humanoid robots, and the application of artificial intelligence in sensing, movement, and independent decision-making. Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy emphasized the importance of engaging with international laboratories and research centers, fostering scientific collaboration, exchanging expertise, and transferring knowledge and modern technologies. This, he stated, will contribute to developing the research environment at AL_Mustaqbal University and empower its students and researchers to keep pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced technology.
