Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, participated in the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE 2026), held at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC Centre) in Glasgow, United Kingdom, from September 8 to 11, 2026, under the theme “The Rhythm of Revolution.” This distinguished participation reflects the presence of Iraq and Al-Mustaqbal University at Europe’s largest international higher education event. Al-Mustaqbal University was the Iraqi academic institution participating in the FEDE Pavilion (Booth #F29), showcasing its 55 advanced academic programs. The university presented its dedicated exhibition booth, highlighting the academic and research capabilities of Al-Mustaqbal University in Babil, Iraq, while showcasing Iraq’s rich civilizational heritage and connecting authenticity with modern educational advancement. Al-Mustaqbal University participated alongside leading universities and educational institutions from around the world, including France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, and others, to explore opportunities for academic cooperation and student exchange. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized that “Our participation in international forums aims to build sustainable institutional partnerships that translate into tangible programs, projects, and opportunities for our students and researchers.” The university also signed several bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding with participating universities and institutions to develop joint programs, strengthen academic and research exchange, and keep pace with the latest global strategies for the internationalization of higher education.
