Al-Mustaqbal University Enhances Practical Education Through a Carp Fish Breeding and Rearing Project

As part of its commitment to strengthening practical education and connecting academic knowledge with field-based practice, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to implement scientific and practical projects that contribute to developing students’ skills and promoting sustainability and food security. The university conducted a specialized scientific and practical activity focused on the breeding and rearing of carp fish, in collaboration between the Department of Administrative Affairs and the College of Agricultural Technologies / Department of Animal Production Technologies. The activity reflects the university’s commitment to applying scientific knowledge to real-world practices that serve the agricultural and animal production sectors. The activity included several practical aspects, such as preparing and managing fish ponds, monitoring water quality, organizing feeding programs, and measuring and monitoring environmental indicators. These efforts contribute to providing suitable conditions for fish growth and meeting the requirements of sustainable aquaculture. This initiative is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to providing an educational environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It enhances students’ capabilities in applying modern technologies in animal production and aquaculture, in line with sustainable development goals and efforts to strengthen food security.
