As part of Al Mustaqbal University’s efforts to keep pace with global technological developments and advance digital transformation, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, visited GITEX AI Türkiye 2026, held in Istanbul from 9 to 10 September 2026, as part of his academic tour in Europe. During the visit, the University President explored the latest technologies and innovations in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and educational technology, while discussing opportunities to employ these technologies in developing the educational and research environment and strengthening the University’s technological infrastructure. The visit also included a number of meetings with representatives of leading global and Turkish technology companies and specialized technology and innovation centers, including Teknopark Ankara and Antalya Teknokent. The meetings addressed opportunities for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and benefiting from advanced technologies to support academic curricula and scientific laboratories.
