The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, chaired an intensive strategic meeting on Tuesday , 16 September 2026, at the University Presidency Building to review the operational readiness and final requirements of the international postgraduate programs hosted by the University. Foremost among these is the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered by the College of Administrative Sciences and hosted in cooperation with Mansoura University, Arab Republic of Egypt, with the aim of ensuring its comprehensive institutional launch during the current academic year in accordance with approved academic and regulatory frameworks. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the Academic Supervisor, the Deans of the concerned colleges, as well as several department directors and university officials. Discussions focused on the logistical mechanisms for issuing official appointments for program coordinators, forming examination committees, and ensuring effective admission and registration procedures within the timelines specified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Participants also reviewed the University’s ambitious international expansion plans through other hosted programs established in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Mansoura University in the fields of Electronic Systems Engineering, Clinical Anatomy, Public International Law, Administrative Law, Nursing, and Dentistry. These initiatives aim to integrate contemporary administrative and medical knowledge with rapidly evolving practical applications and labor market demands. During the meeting, Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy emphasized the strategic importance of the MBA program within the College of Administrative Sciences, describing it as a distinguished academic gateway that offers Iraqi students and researchers a unique opportunity to enhance their research and leadership competencies while benefiting directly from the rigorous curricula and longstanding academic expertise of Mansoura University.
