Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, participated in the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE 2026), held at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC Centre) in Glasgow, United Kingdom, from 8 to 11 September 2026, under the theme “The Rhythm of Revolution.” The participation represents a significant presence for Iraq and Al-Mustaqbal University at one of Europe’s leading international events dedicated to international education. The University participated as the Iraqi academic institution within the FEDE Pavilion (Booth #F29), showcasing its advanced academic portfolio, comprising 55 educational programs. Through its dedicated exhibition pavilion, Al-Mustaqbal University presented its academic and research capabilities while also highlighting Iraq’s rich civilizational heritage, creating a distinctive connection between the authenticity of Iraqi identity and the modern advancement of higher education. The University participated alongside leading universities and educational institutions from various countries, including France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, and others, to explore opportunities for academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and student and research mobility. Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized that the University’s participation in international forums aims to establish sustainable institutional partnerships that can develop into tangible programs, projects, and opportunities for its students and researchers. As part of its participation, Al-Mustaqbal University concluded several bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding with participating universities and institutions. These agreements aim to develop joint academic programs, strengthen academic and research exchange, and align with the latest global strategies in the internationalization of higher education. This participation forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of strengthening its position and presence within global academic forums and expanding international cooperation opportunities that serve its students and academic and research staff.
