Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, met with the delegation of students who participated in the international training program following the successful completion of their scientific and cultural program hosted by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom. During the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi praised the students’ efforts and outstanding discipline throughout the training period, emphasizing that their participation presented a distinguished image of Al-Mustaqbal University students and demonstrated the capabilities of Iraqi students in international academic forums. The University President stressed the importance of making use of the knowledge, skills, and experience gained during the program and sharing the lessons learned with their colleagues. This would help expand the benefits of international training opportunities and enhance their academic, personal, and professional skills. He also emphasized that the University continues to support initiatives and programs that provide students with genuine opportunities to learn and train in international academic environments. He noted that engagement with global universities contributes to developing students’ skills, enhancing their readiness for the labor market, and promoting a culture of international academic exchange and collaboration. For his part, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, stated that the program represents the outcome of the University Presidency’s ongoing efforts to transform international academic cooperation opportunities into practical educational and training experiences that directly benefit students. He noted that the program represents a unique experience within the framework of cooperation with British universities, as part of a series of international initiatives implemented by the University with universities in the United Kingdom, Egypt, and Türkiye. Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, praised the initiative, which provided the college’s students with an important opportunity for training and engagement with an international academic environment. He emphasized its role in developing their scientific and practical skills and familiarizing them with modern educational methods and technologies. The meeting was attended by Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Cultural Relations Department, along with a number of professors from the College of Engineering Technologies who accompanied the students throughout their training program. The meeting included a review of the program’s key stages and its scientific, cultural, and training activities, as well as the knowledge and skills the students gained. At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi honored the participating students by presenting them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their commitment, active participation, and distinguished representation of Al-Mustaqbal University, while encouraging them to continue developing their capabilities and making use of the international training and academic exchange opportunities provided by the University.
