The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, held an extensive meeting with a number of directors of departments and units at the University Presidency, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, to review key scientific and academic files and set priorities for the next phase. The meeting aimed to assess the level of performance and achievement across a number of vital areas, while relying on data and performance indicators to support decision-making and enhance the University’s academic and scientific performance. The meeting included reviewing academic and scientific partnerships, scientific research and high-quality scholarly publishing, university rankings, and capacity-building programs and the development of students’ and graduates’ skills, with an emphasis on preparing periodic analytical reports to measure progress and achievement. The meeting also emphasized activating partnerships and transforming agreements and memoranda of understanding into high-quality programs and projects, in addition to supporting applied research, developing the role of the Science and Technology Gardens Department as a platform for innovation, applied research, and entrepreneurship, and strengthening cooperation with the public and private sectors. This meeting comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s approach to continuous planning, performance measurement, and results analysis, contributing to the development of its academic and research outcomes and strengthening its presence at both the local and international levels.
