Al-Mustaqbal University commenced its 2026–2027 academic year today, Sunday, September 20, 2026, with an Iraqi flag-raising ceremony, marking the beginning of the new academic year in accordance with the Ministry’s approved schedule. The ceremony was attended by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majidi, along with the Assistant Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the Director of the University Affairs Department, as well as the deans and associate deans of the university’s colleges, including the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, in addition to a number of faculty members and staff. The Al-Mustaqbal University Scout Team conducted the flag-raising ceremony under the supervision of the Scout Activities Division within the Central Student Activities Department, marking the beginning of a new academic year in an atmosphere of academic spirit and national pride. #AlMustaqbal_University_First_in_Iraq
