As part of the preparations for the new academic year and in line with efforts to ensure the efficient organization of the educational and academic process, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, held a meeting with the Department of Aviation Engineering Technologies on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to discuss the department’s academic and administrative plans and preparations for the new academic year. The meeting addressed several key topics, including the organization of attendance and working hours, daily monitoring of staff and student attendance, as well as the continuous updating of data and registration through the Student Information System (SIS). The meeting also discussed updating and developing academic curricula in accordance with recent scientific and technological advancements, establishing departmental advisory councils, and strengthening cooperation and partnerships with public- and private-sector companies and institutions. Regarding scientific and research activities, the meeting covered the approval of the research plan and the appointment of supervisors for graduation projects. It also emphasized the importance of following up on quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements, completing course portfolios, and developing performance evaluation indicators. The meeting comes as part of the College Deanship’s efforts to enhance the readiness of academic departments and provide the necessary requirements for a well-organized academic year, contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality of education and academic performance.
