Al-Mustaqbal University invited its students to participate in the activities of World University Sports Day 2026, scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Hall. The event was organized in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Student Activities Department. The activities included a variety of sports events involving male and female students, with the aim of enhancing student interaction, developing a spirit of cooperation and positive competition, promoting sports values, and providing an encouraging university environment for physical activity and participation in student programs. The organization of these activities reflected the university’s commitment to university sports as an essential component of an integrated campus life, given their role in strengthening teamwork and communication among students, developing positive behaviors, and encouraging them to adopt a more active lifestyle. The events also provided an opportunity to combine physical activity with social interaction, contributing to the development of teamwork, belonging, and active participation while supporting the formation of well-rounded students whose academic, cultural, and sporting development complement one another. This initiative contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 4: Quality Education, by supporting physical activity and fostering an inclusive and stimulating educational environment.
