As part of the University’s ongoing field-based follow-up of the educational process, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a tour of several colleges and academic departments at the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year to review attendance, the regularity of lectures, and the readiness of the educational environment. During the tour, the University President met with teaching, academic, and administrative staff, stressing that the regular commencement of classes from the first day is a key foundation for a successful academic year. He also emphasized adherence to academic schedules, close monitoring of student attendance, and ensuring that classrooms and laboratories are adequately prepared. The meetings addressed several academic and administrative priorities, foremost among them completing the review and announcement of the second-round examination results, strengthening mechanisms for monitoring student attendance, and enhancing academic performance and the educational process in line with the University’s strategic direction and the requirements of higher education. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi stressed the importance of continued teamwork, preserving the University’s achievements, and advancing academic and scientific performance in support of its ongoing development and standing within the higher education sector. The University President concluded his tour by emphasizing the vital role of teaching and administrative staff in ensuring a successful academic year, wishing everyone a productive academic year filled with success and excellence.
