The Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field follow-up to inspect laboratory equipment and ensure its readiness, in addition to carrying out the necessary calibration procedures to maintain equipment efficiency and accuracy in preparation for students’ practical lectures. The follow-up was supervised by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdul-Hassan Nasser, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, and followed up by Dr. Karrar Majeed Obaid, Laboratory Supervisor, with the participation of a number of department students. The activities included introducing students to the proper operation of laboratory equipment and the correct procedures for handling it in accordance with scientific standards. The follow-up also included practical training for students on the use of laboratory equipment, explaining operating procedures, proper handling and maintenance, while emphasizing compliance with laboratory safety instructions. These activities reflect the Department of Biochemistry’s commitment to strengthening students’ practical skills, developing their laboratory competencies, and providing an applied educational environment that helps connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the field of biochemistry.
