Medical rehabilitation in mental health is an important part of healthcare. It aims to help individuals suffering from mental disorders regain their abilities, improve their quality of life, and integrate into society. Rehabilitation is not limited to treating symptoms; rather, it also includes supporting the psychological, social, and functional aspects of the patient. Psychiatric rehabilitation relies on a range of approaches, including psychotherapy, medication when necessary, social skills training, occupational therapy, as well as family and community support. This integrated approach helps patients develop their ability to communicate, make decisions, become more independent, and perform daily activities more effectively. The role of the family and the medical team is essential to the success of the rehabilitation process. This involves providing a supportive environment, encouraging the patient to adhere to treatment, and helping them gradually return to education, work, and social life. Therefore, medical rehabilitation in mental health is an ongoing process aimed at empowering individuals to achieve the greatest possible level of independence and psychological and social stability.
